This took quite a while... but I think it was worth it.

This is a tribute to the Anzacs who died for Australia in the war, as it is Anzac day today. If you don't live in Australia or New Zealand you'll have no idea what Anzac day is or who the ANZACs are... so I'll tell you.

"ANZAC Day - 25 April - is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs, and the pride they soon took in that name endures to this day."

It has symbolism towards the "Dawn Service" of ANZAC day, which is explained in that website.

Constructive critique and comments are welcome as per usual but I’ve already spent so long on this unless it really needs fixing I probably can’t be bothered tweaking anything. Full size view is definitely necessary as it's very big.

By the way - I converted this to the best quality JPG that I could... because DA doesn't seem to like .tiff and .bmp is too big so it compresses it and makes it all yucky. Anyone know how to fix this?

it's almost perfect. very natural, photographic even. i can't tell you put the horse in. the only thing is that i would make the overall image smaller. it might just be my resolution, but i can't see the whole horse and flower at the same time. it would work much more nicely if both could be seen.

ANZAC day is the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during WWI at Gallipoli, it's a very important day in Australia because we remember those who lost their lives for us. Anzac stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps.
